This is the 3rd time i send the following message.I dont know the reason but i never got an answer.This makes me wondering the reasons that you accepted an illegal radio station from a completely illegal country(as Un states).However i send you one more time my main message and i hope this time to unsubscribe me from the catalogues.Follows the main message that i send the first time(1st of July 2009).

While i was browsing the catalogues of epc i noticed that there are stations with the call 1BXXX which transmit from the occupied cypriot fields and the out-of-law turkish state(which is not identified by any national organisation). For this reason i cannot be in a club where there are those stations which are illegal as their state as UN says.For this reason i want to unsubscribe from this club.In about 3 days i will delete all the awards of epc that exist in my blog. Sorry for the problem i may cause because i had to be aware of such members before subscribing.

From the EPC website....

Each new member is assigned a unique "EPC Number" which is retained for life. A EPC number is never re-issued and it is listed in the Membership Records forever.

What happens to my EPC number if for some reason I lose interest in EPC?

Once you are issued a EPC number, it is yours for life. If you decide to not participate in EPC and our Award Programme, your number is still yours. You can still give it to other EPC members and you can still collect numbers yourself.

KOYFALIA IS A TOWN LOCATED 10KM EAST OF PELLA THE ANCIENT CAPITAL CITY OF MAKEDONIANS.IT IS IN THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF THESSALONIKI IN CENTRAL MAKEDONIA.MAINLY AN AGRICULTURAL AREA WITH RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE ΙΝ THE STANDARD OF LIVING WHICH IN GREAT AMOUNT IS THANKS TO THE DAIRY INDUSTRY MEVGAL WHICH IS LOCATED THERE.
THE SUBJECTS THAT WERE DISCUSSED BY THE GROUP WERE MAINLY OF SEXUAL CONTENT BEACUSE IT WAS VALENTINE DAY WHICH WAS FOR THE ORTHODOX THE LAST DAY OF CARNIVAL.SO THE CONVERSATION WAS IN LOW LEVELS WITHOUT SPECIAL SAYING ABOUT RADIO AMATEUR SUBJECTS.

The reason for the following was photo sent to me by my friend Dimitri K.

It all began in 1978 when together with my cousin Theodore K. bought a radio transmitter (in AM band) with drive el-34 (Oscillation?) and 2Χ817 to 1100 volt DC(max power100w) .
Of course we found that to work the radio we needed an amplifier audio which is worth a lot of money that we did not have.
So putting a wire as an antenna we only managed to insert the remaining radio stations playing songs.
Of course the biggest problem was the studio that has not found the specific time for this and this first contact with ham events ended ingloriously.

Later in 1979 after having managed to make a <>> (what you see in the picture), I began constructing the first transmitter which had to drive an EL34 and an exit PL519.
Material supplied by the shop of Costas Themistocleous in Thessaloniki under the institute Democritus.
I remember I did a long time to construct because they did not use a plan I copied from another similar machine.
The biggest problem was the coupling capacitor in which I did not know how many Pf should be and no one told me (since I feared the construction masterfull).
Later (2-3 months) I discovered that there are plans led to the discovery that the coupling capacitor should be 1000-2000 Pf/3000Kv.
When I finished building transmitter (meanwhile) ,I bought a DUMPLEX 35watt audio transmitter and began radio broadcasts.
For music i used a pick-up BSR.
The first records were of my cousin Antoni M..
Because the disks were expensive, I was buying sporadically, when I had money left and always with great economy, with the final result being 700 of 33 rpm discs (there now) and 1000 about 45 turns which do not exist due to theft.

In 1982 I changed the amplifier configuration with a DUMPLEX 100 watt audio transmitter and refined their sound so it could I could be heard in the Greek mainland and abroad.
Certainly the near-perfect show is famous in the delta of Axios, which is a famous place for emissions to all Hf.
The station played for 24 basis with a large audience.
A lot of friends came by the studio and played songs and spent memorable hours unpaid basis, offering musical entertainment for all listeners.

The radio broadcasts from the studio ended ingloriously illustrated in 1985 while I was student I reurned from Larissa and noticed that someone stole most of the radio (transmitter-amplifier-drives etc).
Fortunately enough material left to go on later to another studio.

MEETING IN AGATHIA IMATHIAS

Meeting in Agathia Imathias in the tavern Lithos.
Agathia is a small village located some kilometres from the ancient necropolis of the Makedonian, Vergina(where there are the tombs of Philip the 2nd and Alexander the 4th son of Alexander the great).
The conversation was about the antennas,the radioamateur tranceivers and the eleven year solar circle.
There were also reports about traditional health medicines as the group members face such problems.
It was suggested sedge for prostatitis and mint for dealing the blood pressure.

ANTΩΝΗΣ ΒΑΡΩΝΟΣ ΣΤΑ ΜΕΣΑΙΑ

Αφορμή για τα παρακάτω η φωτογραφία που μου έστειλε ο φίλος μου ο Δημήτρης Κ.

Όλα ξεκίνησαν το 1978 όταν με τον ξάδερφο μου τον Θεόδωρο Κ. αγοράσαμε έναν ραδιοφωνικό πομπό με 2x 817 στα 1100 volt DC.
Βέβαια ανακαλύψαμε ότι για να δουλέψει ο ραδιοσταθμός χρειάζεται και ενισχυτής διαμορφώσεως ο οποίος άξιζε αρκετά χρήματα τα οποία δεν διαθέταμε.
Έτσι βάζοντας ένα μπαλόσυρμα για κεραία το μόνο που καταφέραμε ήταν να παρεμβάλουμε τους υπόλοιπους ραδιοσταθμούς που έπαιζαν τραγούδια.
Βέβαια το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα ήταν το στούντιο το οποίο δεν βρέθηκε την συγκεκριμένη στιγμή γι’αυτό και η πρώτη αυτή επαφή με τα ραδιοπειρατικά δρώμενα τελείωσε άδοξα.

Αργότερα το 1979 αφού κατόρθωσα να κάνω ένα <<στούντιο>> (αυτό που βλέπετε στην φωτό), άρχισα να κατασκευάζω τον πρώτο πομπό που είχε για οδήγηση μια EL34 και για έξοδο μια PL519.
Τα υλικά τα προμηθεύτηκα από το μαγαζάκι του Κώστα Θεμιστοκλέους στην Θες/νικη κάτω από το Δημόκριτο.
Θυμάμαι ότι έκανα αρκετό καιρό να το κατασκευάσω αφού δεν χρησιμοποίησα σχέδιο άλλα έκανα αντιγραφή από άλλο παρόμοιο μηχάνημα.
Το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα ήταν ο πυκνωτής σύζευξως που δεν γνώριζα πόσα Pf έπρεπε να είναι και κανένας δεν μου έλεγε(από τότε φοβόντουσαν την κατασκευαστική μου δεινότητα).
Αργότερα(2-3 μήνες) όμως ανακάλυψα ότι υπάρχουν και τα σχέδια με αποτέλεσμα να ανακαλύψω ότι ο πυκνωτής σύζευξως έπρεπε να είναι 1000-2000 Pf/3000Ku.
Μόλις τελείωσα την κατασκευή πομπού (εν το μεταξύ) είχα αγοράσει και έναν DUMPLEX 35watt , άρχισα τις ραδιοφωνικές εκπομπές.
Για μουσική χρησιμοποιούσα ένα πικ-απ BSR.
Οι πρώτοι δίσκοι ήταν του ξαδέρφου μου του Αντώνη Μ..
Επειδή οι δίσκοι ήταν ακριβοί αγόραζα σποραδικά , όταν περίσσευε καμιά δραχμούλα και πάντα με μεγάλη οικονομία , με τελικό αποτέλεσμα 700 δίσκους των 33 στροφών (υπάρχουν και σήμερα) και 1000 περίπου 45 στροφών οι οποίοι δεν υπάρχουν λόγω κλοπής.

Το 1982 άλλαξα τον ενισχυτή διαμόρφωσης με έναν DUMPLEX 100 watt και τελειοποίησα τον πομπό με αποτέλεσμα να ακούγεται περίφημα εντός του ελλαδικού χώρου αλλά και στο εξωτερικό.
Βέβαια η σχεδόν άριστη εκπομπή οφείλεται στην περίφημη περιοχή του Δέλτα του Αξιού η οποία είναι ένας περίφημος χώρος για εκπομπές σε όλα τα Hf.
Ο σταθμός έπαιζε επί 24 βάσεως με πολύ μεγάλο ακροατήριο.
Παρά πολλοί φίλοι έρχονταν από το στούντιο και έπαιζαν τραγούδια και περνούσαν αξέχαστες ώρες προσφέροντας αφιλοκερδώς μουσική ψυχαγωγία σε όλους τους ακροατές.

Οι ραδιοφωνικές εκπομπές από το εικονιζόμενο στούντιο τελείωσαν άδοξα το 1985 όταν φοιτητής και γυρνώντας από Λάρισα διαπίστωσα ότι μου είχαν κλέψει το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του ραδιοσταθμού(πομπό-ενισχυτή-δίσκους κ.τ.λ).
Ευτυχώς έμειναν αρκετά υλικά για να συνεχίσω αργότερα σε άλλο στούντιο.
